One Cell Systems, Inc. Announces Appointment of Director of Marketing and Sales

Cambridge, MA. October 7, 1998.  One Cell Systems, Inc. has named Howard Kartstein as Director of Marketing & Sales. In this newly created position, Mr. Kartstein will be responsible for managing One Cell Systems’ marketing and sales programs.

Mr. Kartstein previously was a Product Manager in the research products business unit of Genzyme Diagnostics. He joined Genzyme from PerSeptive Diagnostics, Inc. where he was National Sales and Field Marketing Manager.

Cambridge-based One Cell Systems develops, manufactures and commercializes its proprietary technologies for the rapid detection, isolation and analysis of single cells for research and diagnostic    applications. The Company’s technologies encompass the processes, materials and methods of encapsulating cells in gel microdrops permitting rapid detection and selection using flow cytometry and digital image analysis.
